As your local councillor I believe you have the right to expect the best service for the lowest possible council tax and I believe that everything the council does should be measured against these twin goals. I also believe that the sole purpose of the council is to serve the public and that the public should have a much louder voice in what goes on in the council. I would urge you to attend Area Forum meetings and any other public meetings that interest you. There is very little that is, or needs to be, secret and you have the right to know about everything else so do not be afraid to ask questions.
